Jayam Ravi during his press meet claimed that he faced a lot of struggles with Aarti, even stating that his bank accounts were under their control and he faced a lot of mental torture because of Aarti’s dominance and her family.
However, Jayam Ravi’s ex-mother-in-law, Sujatha Vijayakumar has now stated that she has invested 100 crore in making films and her family hasn’t taken anyone else’s property during losses. She noted that there has been strong speculation that Aarti demanded 40 lakh per month without any proper reason, which is why the court granted only 3 lakh per month.
By pointing to these rumours, she claimed that they didn’t ask for 40 lakh without reason, but because they are dealing with financial liabilities, including debts that Jayam Ravi left behind.
Furthermore, she mentioned that he didn’t even contribute to his children’s expenses for the last two years, not even for their food. She stated that there has been no support for school fees or basic living expenses and they are struggling to repay the debts he left behind, even facing the threat of their house being seized.
With all these claims, she suggested that no mother should ever have to go through a situation like this. The court has now reportedly directed him to pay the children’s annual school fees, which amount to 86 lakh. Considering all these expenses together, Aarti demanded 40 lakh every month.
In response to these statements by Sujatha Vijayakumar, many people do not believe these allegations against Jayam Ravi and are suggesting that these might be fake accusations to tarnish his public image.
They claim that if they had really faced a lot of trouble, they should have opened up about this in public earlier, rather than speaking out now when everything has settled. Hence, they claim these statements might be made against the actor just to affect his reputation.
