Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time is all set for a grand worldwide release on September 5th. Now it has been confirmed that the movie’s first show will start at 4 am everywhere except Tamilnadu, and in Tamilnadu, the movie’s first show will begin only by 9 am.
After Thunivu and Varisu release, the Tamil Nadu government passed an order and restricted special show screenings in Tamil Nadu and also ordered to start the first show only by 9 am and can accommodate 5 shows, that is, from 9 am to 1.30 am, till the first weekend of this movie release.

This is because much commotion has caused during the time of the Varisu and Thunivu movie opening day, and a youngster died during the celebration before the special show. So the government of Tamil Nadu has temporarily restricted the first show. Many Tamil audiences were feeling that this is just unfair, as a Tamil movie will be screened worldwide before Tamil audiences were watching it. After Thunivu and Varisu, many biggies such as Jailer, Leo, and Ponniyin Selvan were released, and the first show was started at 4 am worldwide except Tamilnadu.
Now, after a few months gap, the most-awaited movie from Kollywood, the GOAT, is going to release, and the same scenario is going to happen as the shows were starting only at 9 am in Tamil Nadu. Fans are requesting the Government of Tamil Nadu to consider it and permit to allow the screening of special shows with proper protection.
