In this scenario, a public prosecutor has filed a petition at the Chennai commissioner’s office to prevent theatres from charging an extra amount than the usual one for the GOAT movie. Many popular theatres in Chennai were adding food combos with the ticket and charging more than 400 rupees for the first three days. While the government has ordered the cinema multiplexes to charge only 190 per ticket, theatres are using the fans’ expectations and charging double the normal amount.

Many audiences also mentioned that the tickets were selling in black and the ticket price for the first show was more than 1500 in some theatres around Chennai. Theatres and multiplexes used the fan’s expectations and did cruel things to the audiences who were excited to watch the first show of their favorite actor’s movie.
