Viduthalai Part-1, directed by Vetri Maaran and starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, was released last year and became a huge success. Now Part 2 of this movie’s shooting is in the final stages and gearing up for the release.
Viduthalai Part-1, which was released last year, has acquired lots of positive responses among the audiences and critics. Initially, the movie was planned to be released as a single-part movie, but considering the content weightage, the movie was planned to be released in two parts.
Viduthalai was previously screened at the 53rd Rotterdam Film Festival as a single part with combined scenes from both parts and a duration of around 4 hours. It has got a huge appreciation from the viewers of the film festival. Now there was a buzz that Viduthalai Part-2 was almost completed and had ended up with footage of almost 4 hours and 30 minutes. So the team was planning to release the movie as a trilogy, and Part 2 was planned to be expected to release on December 3rd week as a Christmas special.
The shooting of Part 2 is in the final stages, and the team plans to shoot some extra content to release Part 3 of the movie next year. Vetri Maaran never fails to impress us; this time it’s going to be a surprise package, as parts 2 and 3 have an additional cast of artists who weren’t appearing in part 1, which was previously released.
