The teaser of Vijay Sethupathi‘s long-pending project Train directed by Mysskin was released recently and is going viral on social media with positive responses from audiences.
Even though shooting for this film started in 2023 and was completed in 2024, the release of the film was delayed due to financial issues. However, it seems that after a lot of struggles, the film is finally gearing up for a theatrical release this August.
In response to the teaser, many people on social media are saying that Train seems to be a promising film with lots of action sequences, as the teaser offered a glimpse of many action scenes in the film.
Since action entertainers have a lot of fans, they suggest that if Mysskin delivers the film with a solid screenplay, Train will become a sure-shot blockbuster success.
Meanwhile, some people suggest that the teaser of Train looks almost similar to the blockbuster Bollywood film Kill. They note that since the complete story of Kill was set against the backdrop of a train journey, Vijay Sethupathi’s Train looks very similar to it.
Additionally, they suggest that because Kill became a huge Pan-Indian success and many Kollywood audiences watched and praised the film at the time of its release, Mysskin’s Train might now have to deliver something new. They believe it needs to offer more than Kill to emerge as a successful film; otherwise, Train might end up as a failure.
However, it remains to be seen whether Train will satisfy the expectations of the audience and emerge as a successful venture after facing all these delays upon its release.
