Since none of Vikram’s films in the last few years have become successful ventures at the box office, the actor is currently at risk of losing his market and is striving to deliver a success. Therefore, the success of Power House is very crucial for the actor and if Power House slips, then Vikram will end up in a very tragic state.
After Suriya made a massive comeback with Karuppu this year, everyone’s eyes are now on Vikram, with many believing that he will also make a massive comeback with his next outing.
When the announcement video of Chiyaan 63 dropped, it became a viral hit with overwhelmingly positive responses from the audience and raised expectations for the film.
However, it seems the Chiyaan 63 team has failed to maintain that momentum, as the recently released title announcement glimpse did not satisfy expectations and many people claim that it looks very outdated.
This is because the glimpse showcased two shades of Vikram in the film, one as a normal cook and the other as a ruthless gangster. Since this template of heroes having two sides with a bad past has already reached a saturation point in Kollywood and people feel that this almost looks similar to Vijay’s Leo but with a rooted theme, many of Vikram’s fans fear whether Power House will also end up as another failure for the actor.
Nevertheless, we cannot judge the final output based on the glimpse alone and we cannot able to judge the story of the film just with a glimpse. Hence, it remains to be seen how Power House takes shape and whether it emerges as a successful venture, helping Vikram make a massive comeback.
