When Jones gestured at the hostile driver, their incident intensified, according to Jones. The unnamed driver of the other automobile opened fire on their minivan after this small disagreement. Nunez Linares was shot in the back of the head. She died despite rapid medical assistance at a hospital, leaving her family distraught.

Jones, grieving and wanting justice, told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth that he wanted the culprit arrested, convicted, and imprisoned. He stressed that shooting a weapon into a car caused his wife’s premature death. Many who have witnessed road rage violence share the bereaved husband’s need for justice.

Police are seeking the shooter, who left the area. The suspect’s little, dark-colored automobile is older. Law enforcement is asking anybody with information regarding the event or the culprit to call Crime Stoppers.
