The race to the White House has already begun and this race has more twists and turns than one expected. The fight for the Presidential candidate is getting hotter and what once appeared like a straight win for Donald Trump, is turning out to be a long standing fight between him and two Indian- Americans. Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley have taken the number two and three spots in the latest GOP polls.
Earlier the former Governor of Florida Ros DeSantis was considered as the chief rival of Donald Trump with a 26 percent support. But in the latest polls, his following dropped to 6 percent putting him fifth on the list. On the other hand Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley gained popularity and reached 13 and 12 percent support. The two Indian American are now trailing behind only the former President.
This makes the case interesting as Donald Trump is also waging a legal battle and has been indicted on several counts creating an atmosphere of uncertainty. The poll suggests that young republicans are lending their support to Vivek Ramaswamy while the people with formal education are more likely to choose Nikki Haley over others. The poll results have once again given spark to the possibility of an Indian American President in the USA.
