The “Fukrey” franchise, which has been entertaining us for 10 years, recently released its third installment in theaters, generating a significant buzz and achieving box office success. Despite having an average storyline, the movie managed to attract audiences to theaters, thanks to the beautiful comic timing of actors like Varun Sharma, who played the adorable Chucha and already has a huge fanbase. Additionally, Pankaj Tripathi played Honey, the mastermind behind every scam they engage in, while characters like Lali and Pandit Ji provided great support in their battle against Bholi Punjaban.
Fans did miss the character of Ali Fazal in this installment, and the female leads were largely ignored in the movie. The film took a major leap by shifting from Delhi to Dubai, which received mixed reactions from the public. However, it overall made people laugh and was well-received by the audience.
“Fukrey 3” grossed approximately 124 crores worldwide at the box office and is now available for rent on OTT platforms. The movie will premiere in 2 weeks but can be streamed right now on rent at Rs. 349 on Prime Video.
