The Indian OTT landscape witnessed massive audience engagement in 2026.
Netflix, JioHotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and Zee5 continue to compete for audience attention, with a mix of action, drama, thrillers, and comedy films making their mark.
Leading the list of most watched Indian OTT films of 2026 was Dhurandhar, which emerged as the biggest digital success of the year.
The film recorded an impressive 31.1 million viewers and became the most viewed Indian film on OTT during the year on Netflix.
Its popularity also extended to its sequel which secured strong viewership on JioHotstar with 18.9 million viewers.
Netflix dominated the rankings with multiple titles making it into the top positions.
The thriller Accused secured third place with 16.6 million viewers, followed by Made In Korea, which attracted 13.5 million viewers.
Ikka and Bhooth Bangla continued Netflix’s strong performance by gaining 12.9 million and 11.9 million viewers respectively.
The Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam-starrer Haq also performed well by reaching 11.3 million viewers.
Mardaani 3, on the other hand, recorded 10.7 million viewers and Kartavya reached 10.3 million viewers.
The Raja Saab also achieved a similar viewership figure of 10.3 million on JioHotstar.
Other notable films that gained significant attention included Tere Ishk Mein with 9.7 million viewers on Netflix and Subedaar with 9.6 million viewers on Amazon Prime Video.
Netflix continued to dominate the overall list with films such as Maa Behen, Blast, De De Pyaar De 2, Toaster, and Kara.
These films reportedly recorded viewership numbers ranging from 6.7 million to 8.9 million.
JioHotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and Zee5 also made their presence felt with films including Chand Mera Dil, Thamma, System, and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.
Although these films recorded lower numbers compared to the top performers, they contributed to the growing content available on OTT platforms.
