Dhurandhar OTT Hype: BO Storm to Delay Streaming?

Dhurandhar OTT and box office update

Ranveer Singh’s spy action thriller Dhurandhar continues its strong box office run with steady growth through the first week. Early estimates place the India net collection between 180 and 188 crore. The film has built solid momentum and audiences are responding across regions.

Industry trackers expect Dhurandhar to enter the 200 crore club soon. Exhibitors are reporting strong turnout and repeat viewers. Premium formats are performing well and the film now stands among the biggest Hindi hits of the year.

The focus has shifted to the OTT release. Dhurandhar is heading to Netflix but the platform has not confirmed a date. Using the usual eight week gap and the December 5 release, the streaming launch is expected in late January or early February 2026.

The lack of an official announcement has created speculation. Netflix may hold the release a little longer to extend box office gains. The film has already secured a major digital deal for both parts, with reports placing the value near 130 crore.

Franchise plans are now in motion. The end credits have confirmed Dhurandhar 2 and the sequel is set for March 19, 2026 during the Eid weekend. This gives the series a strong back to back presence in theatres and on streaming.

With Part 1 performing well and interest rising for Part 2, Dhurandhar is shaping into a rare Hindi action franchise with steady excitement across platforms.
