After receiving accolades at major international film festivals, the Manoj Bajpayee starrer, Joram, is ready to entertain the public worldwide with a theatrical release. Joram, which is a survival thriller movie, is currently running at the Busan International Film Festival. It is placed in ‘A Window on Asian Cinema’ category at the film festival.
Joram is directed by Devashish Makhija and also features actors like Zeeshan Ayyub, Smita Tambe, Rajshri Deshpande. Manoj Bajpayee will be seen in the lead role in the movie. Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of a migrant worker in Mumbai who has to suddenly run away with his infant daughter. The movie is named Joram after the name of this infant girl.
The film produced by Zee Studios and Makhijafilm has had a great run at numerous film festivals. It has been screened in all the continents in just under a year and is now ready to seek the attention of the public. The filmmakers are planning to have a strategically phased out release of the movie worldwide.
Manoj said that he was excited about the kind of recognition the film has received so far at the film festivals. The movie will be released in cinema houses worldwide on the 1st of December.
