YRF’s “The Railway Men” has generated buzz with its stellar cast, which includes proven actors like R. Madhavan and Kay Kay Menon, and young talents Babil Khan and Divyendu Sharma. The recently released teaser gives us a lot of hope with its visually disturbing topic.
“The Railway Men” is based on the events of the Bhopal gas tragedy that occurred on the unfortunate nights of December 2nd and 3rd of 1984. A highly poisonous chemical called methyl isocyanate leaked in a Union Carbide factory in Bhopal. The leak was so harmful that it took more than 3,000 lives.
This 4-episode mini-series deals with the four people who were somehow involved in the tragedy and helped save many lives. There is a station master who gets to know about the gas leak and ensures that all the trains are diverted from entering the city. These individuals play an important role in saving the people.
