After garnering praise for “The Kashmir Files,” Vivek Agnihotri is back promoting his new venture named “The Vaccine War.” This movie is going to be based on the challenges faced during the development of the COVID vaccine during the outbreak of Corona and will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar after its theatrical run.
Vivek, who has mastered the art of making movies on socially enraging themes, started off with “The Tashkent Files” and then the highly controversial “The Kashmir Files,” which soon became a national phenomenon.
A few people labeled it as a propaganda movie, but nobody could question its quality. As a result, it proved to be one of the biggest hits of that year. The movie then went on Zee5 for its digital release, but this upcoming movie, “The Vaccine War,” has joined hands with Disney+ Hotstar as their digital partner.
Vivek also recently released his documentary series about “The Kashmir Files,” and now, with “The Vaccine War,” Vivek is trying to address another issue during COVID times, calling it India’s first bioscience film.
The movie will star Nana Patekar, Saptami Gowda, Pallavi Joshi, and Anupam Kher and will be produced by Pallavi Joshi. It will release worldwide on September 28th.
