The actor officially announced on his 60th birthday that Sitaare Zameen Par would hit theatres this June.

He clarified that while the film isn’t a direct sequel to Taare Zameen Par, it is an extension of its themes.
For those unaware, Aamir Khan plays the role of a drunkard coach in Sitaare Zameen Par. The film tells his journey as he trains a team of specially-abled kids for the Paralympics.
The RS Prasanna directorial also features Genelia Deshmukh in a key role.
Apart from Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir is considering several other projects and is expected to finalize his next film by summer 2025.
While expectations are high for Sitaare Zameen Par to live up to the first film, its premise definitely seems intriguing.
It will be interesting to see what Aamir Khan has planned for his big-screen return after three years.
