Everyone had some great expectations from Housefull 5 but it seems like the film has disappointed us in several aspects.

Soundarya Sharma made her much-awaited debut in the film, only to be objectified so much that she has also become the subject of trolls.
The actress was called out for being just an ice candy throughout the film. Most of the time, the actors of the film like Shreyas Talpade and Akshay Kumar were seen staring at her back, thighs, or cleavage. The same goes for the other actresses who are also a part of Housefull 5 – Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa.
However, it was mainly Soundarya, the debutant who was the most objectified with all the skin show and almost zero dialogues!
Housefull 5 was marketed as a fun-filled family entertainer, but what we got instead was a crass spectacle that insulted both women and the audience’s intelligence.
Reducing talented actresses to nothing more than visual props not only reeks of lazy filmmaking but also exposes Bollywood’s persistent obsession with skin over substance.
If this is the direction mainstream comedy is heading, maybe it’s time we stop laughing—and start demanding better.
