Shahid Kapoor dealt with a rough patch at the theatres with his recent venture in Deva. The film got decent reviews, but being a remake, it didn’t collect much at the box office and was a huge flop.

Shahid Kapoor has always been considered as a normal actor and not a superstar over the years. His performances have been tremendous but none of them established him as a certified superstar in the industry.

After another disaster in Deva, Shahid Kapoor has shifted his focus to Arjun Ustara in his fourth collaboration with veteran filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.

The dynamic duo were a part of Shahid’s previous filmography including Kaminey, which became a cult classic with time. They then collaborated in Haider which was another masterpiece by Shahid and is one of his most influential performances till date.

With an unforgettable partnership in Rangoon, the duo is back to bolster the box office with Arjun Ustara. The renowned director shared his insights on the project and expected big things from it.

He stated how the shooting has been terrific so far and other prominent actors including Tripti Dimri, Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda are adding a lot of layers to the film.

The film is set in the 1990s and showcases a tale of gangsters in Mumbai mixing emotions of love and hatred hence promising to be an romantic-action saga.

As there have been numerous gangster related material over several OTT platforms and theatres in recent times, it is unlikely that Arjun Ustara will have something unexpected for the audiences.




With such a talented cast in hand, Arjun Ustara has an opportunity to hit the jackpot at the box office but with Shahid’s ongoing bad luck and a weak genre of gangsters and romance, expectations from the film are moderate at most.
