Amruta admitted how she’s turned down projects offering “double her bank balance” simply because the scripts failed to resonate with her.

She revealed this passion for recognizing good content was imbibed in her from her childhood by her grandmother, who ran a library in
Satara.
She would encourage young Amruta to read, critique, and justify what books she liked or didn’t, instilling an eye for good stories way

This early exposure to understanding and distinguishing stories, Amruta believes, is what sharpened her instincts as a performer.
Amruta recalled the incident when Zoya Akhtar approached her with a role older than her age in Gully Boy, which she couldn’t refuse after
reading one particular line her character says in the script.
This gut feeling for meaningful roles continues to shape her career.
Currently seen in Mehran Amrohi’s Chidiya, Amruta once again delivers something unexpected.
Amruta shared her most feared task to perform—hitting a child—was the first shot in the film.
But with her affair with good content still going strong, audiences know they’re in for something honest every time she’s on screen.
