Chhaava

Chhaava is finally ready to hit the theatres this Friday after getting involved in a lineup of controversies. With Vicky Kaushal playing the lead role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, expectations are sky-high specifically after the positive response towards the trailer.

While the film was supposed to arrive alongside Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 5, 2024, it was eventually postponed to Valentine’s Day this year. In between all these, a new report is now making the rounds of the internet.

Allu Arjun appeared for a success meet of his film in Hyderabad recently where he hinted towards a conversation where he reportedly got in touch with a Bollywood filmmaker to request to change the release date of a Hindi film. Although the Icon Star did not mention the name of the film, people believe that it was Chhaava.

According to Allu Arjun, the filmmaker was ready to shift the date, saying that all of them are fans of Pushpa and that if the film is released on a specific date, they will clear the path for a successful run.

Notably, the makers of Chhaava have not responded to the reports until now. However, it seems like the producers were not willing to compete with Chhaava in any manner and wanted the film to become a hit without clashing with any other big or small film.

While Chhaava created a lot of buzz at the time of release, no one is talking about it now and this has eventually created doubts about the film’s opening day collections.

Although there were speculations that it might collect somewhere between Rs. 25-30 crores on Day 1, the chances are too less considering that the film is not getting enough popularity among the audience.

Another report has stated that producers have brought tickets by themselves to show an inflated number.

This is a path that no one should take since the audiences decide a film’s fate at the end of the day. However, everything will be clear on Friday when the film will finally arrive in theatres.
