
Sikandar is the next big film arriving in theatres and considering its release in Eid, the action drama is expected to do well at the box office.
Meanwhile, cinematographer S. Thirunavukkarasu, who has worked in the upcoming film recently praised Salman Khan, who plays the lead, in an interview. He appreciated Salman’s ability to showcase his emotions perfectly on the screen.

Thirunavukkarasu also recalled the time when he worked with Salman on sets, stating that he told the superstar to be himself.
He also disclosed that Salman can work without getting distracted by anything, including lighting, and that he does not care anything about where the camera exactly stands to give his best shot.

Apart from speaking about Salman Khan, Thirunavukkarasu shared some details about the film’s main premise, saying that it would be an emotional story with a social message.
He further stated that Salman’s philanthropic work will also be brought to life with the film. Notably, Salman’s image has been impacted after the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput and Salman is possibly trying to cleanse his image with Sikandar.

This proves that A.R. Murugadoss will repeat his formula of covering a societal issue alongside providing entertainment to the general audience. But the question is whether it will emerge successful at the end of its theatrical run.
While promotions have already started, the makers have not announced a specific release date until now.
There is a possibility that makers are possibly not confident about the film’s content and they have already taken options such as a non-theatrical deal to recover the film’s overall budget.
Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead and although she is being called as a lucky charm for any film right now, her presence might not help much. However, things will get clear once the advance booking starts for the film possibly in the upcoming weeks.
