Very recently actor cum comedian Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped and now he has revealed why the kidnapping was done. Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped along with comedian Sunil Pal a few days back.
In a recent interview, Khan has revealed how the kidnappers assumed that he must have made a huge amount of money after the humongous success of Gadar 2.

Gadar 2 earned more than 500 crores at the box office and according to Mushtaq Khan, the kidnappers believed that the money was distributed among the actors. They demanded five crores from him and did not believe him when he said he does not have the money.
The actor said that they believed he must be rich because he has worked with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor and more.

Mushtaq is famous for his roles in comedy movies like Welcome. The kidnapping incident and the reason behind it emphasizes the lack of security that character artists have in the industry and also the huge gap in payscale for stars and just ‘actors’.
Netizens are also concerned about how the money is distributed and they think so-called small artists too need financial and overall security.
