Ranveer Singh has not announced anything about his next film for now. However, a source has recently confirmed that the first glimpse of his upcoming film, Dhurandhar, will be reportedly released on July 6, 2025, which also marks the actor’s birthday.
The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar, and the insider stated that the espionage thriller will bring an action ride that has never been seen in the past. Notably, the source added that the film is expected to be a big bounce back for Ranveer at the same time.
Although Ranveer or the makers have not confirmed anything from their side so far, a similar report emerged last month, stating that the teaser would be released on Ranveer’s birthday and it will offer a glimpse of the main cast members alongside the world created by Aditya Dhar for the film.
It seems like audiences will soon get to see something from Dhurandhar despite that a specific date is yet to be revealed. The basic premise is reported to be inspired from real-life events and it will be set in Pakistan during the ‘70s and ‘80s.
Moreover, the makers are aiming to bring the film to theatres sometime between January and March next year. Apart from this, the shooting of the spy thriller is supposed to end by September 2025.
With only a few days left for Ranveer’s birthday, it is impossible that the actor would not bring a surprise for his fans. Ranveer has always tried on different kinds of roles, and Dhurandhar looks like a film where audiences will get to see a new kind of Ranveer.
On the other hand, Dhurandhar’s premise is something that has been repeated in other films in the past. The biggest question right now is whether Aditya has taken the routine format to bring the story or is following a completely new approach.
