Just a day ago, we heard about Bhushan Kumar stating about not working with Diljit Dosanjh anymore after Border 2.
The reasons were obvious, and if you still don’t know, here’s the simple reason. The inclusion of Hania Aamir in Diljit’s recently released film Sardaarji 3 and FWICE’s ban on him due to the same reason.
Now, fresh in are reports that the entire Diljit Dosanjh-Bhushan Kumar row was nothing but baseless and damaging. Reportedly, T-Series itself has quashed the rumours.
Earlier reports suggested that Bhushan Kumar either banned or reinstated Diljit from Border 2 due to political pressure or industry lobbying. He even hinted at a permanent end to their collaboration.
But insiders maintain that no such decisions have been taken, and casting remains purely driven by creative timelines, not external controversies.
“This is manufactured noise,” said a source. “Bhushan Kumar has never manipulated casting based on public backlash or agendas. Border 2 is progressing professionally and calmly.”
Whether or not Diljit will continue to work with T-Series again is a different question. However, the main thing to look at right now is whether he will be accepted in the industry in the same manner after the entire Pak artist ban row.
The actor-singer and the makers of Sardaarji 3 had already made it clear earlier that the film was shot way before the Pahalgam attack and the rising India-Pak tensions.
They even made sure not to release the film in India and instead rolled it out overseas.
But, as it is said, people don’t forget things soon, and that’s exactly the case happening with Diljit right now.
