With a rise to prominence initiated by threatening Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, and further strengthened by the high-profile assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in 2022, the Bishnoi gang seems to be witnessing its golden period.

Lawrence Bishnoi and Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar recently made headlines after the assassination of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was considered a very close friend of Bollywood personas like Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and SRK.
While the gang took responsibility for the assassination, NIA sources claim that it may be plotting to target other public figures like comedian Munawar Faruqui and Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddique, just to name a few.

Experts claim that these past assassinations have a much deeper psychological motive than just taking revenge on Salman Khan. The motive behind these killings may be to gain more fame than the victim by killing them.
Despite these brutal killings, some people on social media have been showering praises on Lawrence Bishnoi by portraying him as a saviour, even thanking him for the assassinations. In contrast, others have duly pointed out the helplessness of the police to keep a check on the gangster even from jail.
