Sikandar Advance Bookings

Salman Khan’s Sikandar was expected to receive a massive response from the audience, but the pre-booking numbers tell a different story.

The film has sold around 80,000 tickets across the top three national chains- PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis for its opening day.

Based on the current pace of advance bookings, final pre-sales are expected to reach 125K to 150K tickets in these multiplex chains.

While this is a better pre-sales performance than Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, it still falls short of Salman Khan’s megastardom.

Sikandar’s final advance sales are expected to be significantly lower than those of Tiger 3, which opened to ₹41 crore net on Laxmi Puja.

The first-day opening is estimated to be around ₹25-30 crore, a disappointing figure for a Salman Khan Eid release.

Despite generating buzz, Sikandar has struggled to pick up momentum.

With less than 24 hours until release, ticket sales remain alarmingly low.

As per data, the film is selling only 30 tickets per minute on average.

To tackle this, Cinepolis has introduced a limited-time offer, providing a ₹200 discount on the purchase of two or more tickets via the Cinepolis app.

The offer, labelled Buy 1 Get 1, can be availed using the code SIKANDARB1G1.

It remains to be seen whether this promotional strategy will boost footfall in theatres or if Sikandar will continue to struggle despite the discount.

Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force also offered such discounts, which didn’t help the film boost sales excessively. Can Sikandar be able to do it?
