Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna are in the news after their film Sikandar failed to impress audiences and critics.
The film, which was expected to be a big Eid release, opened to negative reviews and poor box office numbers. Amid this, a video of Salman allegedly misbehaving with Rashmika has gone viral, sparking controversy.
In the video, Salman can be seen holding the car door while Rashmika, who is recovering from a fracture, struggles to move.
At one point, it appears that Salman forcefully pulls Rashmika’s hand, prompting her to step forward. Though they later posed for photos, many on social media felt Salman’s behavior was rude and unnecessary.
Rashmika fans quickly criticized the actor, questioning his actions. Comments like “Why did he pull her hand like that?” and “He forced her to take a picture” flooded social media. Some even age-shamed Salman, calling him “Salman uncle” and mocking Sikandar’s failure at the box office.
Some fans said Salman broke the golden streak of Rashmika by giving ger a disaster like Sikandar and now behaving so rudely with her.
Meanwhile, Sikandar’s collections are disappointing. The film managed only 25 crores on its opening day, failing to surpass Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava.
With poor word of mouth, the film’s second day is also looking weak, and analysts predict it may struggle to cross 100 crores lifetime—a shocking result for a Salman Khan Eid release.
With both the box office failure and the viral controversy, it seems Sikandar has only added to Salman’s struggles, raising questions about his fading stardom.
