Comedian Sunil turned to full fledged hero with the film Maryada Ramanna which released in the second half of 2010. After its release the comedian has done four films as a hero and only a handful of projects as comedian. Among the films which the actor did as comedian most of them were already delayed projects barring one or two. Its suffice to say that Sunil has been seen very less on screen compared to his earlier days as comedian when he was seen regularly in almost all the films.
Bheemavaram Bullodu is the new release from Sunil as an actor and his last release as a solo hero before this was almost a year ago and it wasn’t a great outing for him as far as a solo lead film is concerned. Sunil as we have already mentioned hasn’t been accepting any comedian roles ever since he turned as actor which means the actor has to be careful with what he does as a an actor. He cannot afford to have a misstep again as that would be fatal to his career as a solo lead actor.
Sunil reportedly has a many offers all of which are hanging in balance for now. Everyone is looking forward to see the release of the Bheemavaram Bullodu and see how it fares at the box office. A grand success here would mean the actor in Sunil cementing his position further but a failure here would mean his career as solo lead actor could be jeopardized. Will he then return to at least doing few films as comedian?
