C/o Kancharapalem, a small film that had a clam release yet turned out to be a surprise hit with great reviews on the content. While almost all the recent films are on Amazon Prime within weeks of the release, people are waiting for Kancharapalem too to be popped up on Prime. But, looks like Rana has different plans for the film.

RX100, Goodachari recent hit films already on Amazon Prime also the Srinivasa Kalyanam which a very new release. Coming to Kancharapalem, the director, Maha says that Rana is developing a new model to go to encash the satellite rights of the film as much as they can. The model is still in discussion and is yet to be finalized.
So won’t the film run on Amazon Prime? Not sure about just yet. As the producer Praveena says, they are waiting to know the full box office potential to decide exactly on the new model. C/o Kancharapalem collected $263 K from the US which is very good, given zero known faces and looks like Rana’s approach on selling the satellite rights is going to add on to the fortune of the film.
