India’s biggest superstar, Prabhas, is celebrating his birthday today, and updates about his upcoming projects are making headlines. However, what’s being discussed most is the strong position he currently holds in Indian cinema.
No other actor today enjoys as many sequel opportunities as Prabhas. He is already attached to the sequels of Kalki and Salaar, two of the most anticipated pan-Indian films.
Though neither sequel has begun shooting yet, both are expected to go on floors soon. Industry experts predict each film could easily gross ₹1,000 crore globally, with Kalki 2 even expected to reach ₹1,700–₹1,800 crore if all goes well.
At this point, no other hero has such dependable fallback projects. Even if his upcoming experimental films Raja Saab and Fauzi do not perform as expected, Prabhas can rely on these sequels to regain his box office dominance.

What makes Prabhas stand out is his willingness to experiment. While most actors prefer sticking to commercial formats, he continues exploring new genres like horror and historical dramas. Few stars have managed this mix as confidently as Prabhas.
