Superstar watches a Newbie’s film at residence

Superstar Rajnikanth has the habit of watching movies at his residence though rarely. The last movie ‘Virasaanai’ he watched was critically acclaimed and also registered good success at box-office.

The latest one he watched was ‘Kanithan’starring Atharva in the lead and directed by debutante TN Santoshan, who had been the assistant director of AR Murugadoss. Rajni liked the movie and complimented the director.

According to reports, even Vijay liked the movie. The first choice has been Dhanush for the movie but the makers had to choose Atharva because of date issues. Even Atharva is doing great these days.
