Like never before in his last three terms, there were allegations that Chandrababu Naidu is unable to command the bureaucrats. This is not coming from the Opposition, the party cadre is saying that in anguish.
It has become true once again in the Group II Mains issue. APPSC Chairperson Anuradha refused to Postpone the exam even though the Government has written a letter to consider the Postponement.

We have seen the candidates protest and abuse the Government before the Media last night but the Government remained helpless.
In the defense of Chandrababu Naidu, some people say APPSC is a Statutory Body and the Chairperson just went by the Rule Book.

But there are many Statutory Bodies in Delhi as well. We have UPSC, Election Commission, CAG, etc. Sometime or the other, we have heard how these bodies took decisions to suit the Political Needs of the BJP.
That is the control Modi and Amit Shah exercises on the so-called Statutory Bodies. But Chandrababu Naidu could not influence the APPSC to take a decision that is demanded by the candidates.

This is not the first time something of this sort happened in this Government.
In the last month, TTD EO was arguing with the Chairman right before the Chief Minister.
The Fibernet Chairman had to come before the media and say IAS officers are not implementing the decisions he has taken. The same officers go to the Minister and the CM to complain about the Chairman.
And we have seen the Chief Minister reprimanding the Chairman. If you sacrifice your own men for bureaucrats, the price will be hefty to pay in the coming days.
During his regime, Jagan showed stars to the then State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh and the then APPSC Chairman Uday Bhaskar because they were appointed by Chandrababu Naidu.
Probably, Chandrababu Naidu is coming across too meek for the Officials and it has come to that extent of them not obeying the orders of the Chief Minister.
In the Group II Mains issue, it’s not just Chandrababu‘s image, the image of Education Minister Nara Lokesh also got damaged.
It’s been more than eight months since the new Government is formed, we will have to see how long Chandrababu Naidu will take to bring things at least to the optimal level.
