It is known that the CBI had previously filed cases against YSRCP social media activists over their defamatory comments on the Andhra Pradesh High Court judges. CBI had previously arrested 15 of them.
Incidentally, the CBI has now arrested 7 more YSRCP activists who had shared defamatory social media posts on the High Court Judges.

An investigative wing of the CBI is now in Andhra Pradesh and the said 7 individuals were presented in the CBI special court. The Judge issued remand till the 26th of September for the accused.
The individuals were identified as CH Praveen Kumar Reddy, G Mallikarjuna Rao, Ashok Reddy, S Ranga Rao, Ramanjaneyulu Reddy, Ravindranath.

The accused were shifted to the Vijayawada district jail. A further investigation is in place now and the accused could be facing legal consequences for their social media posts against the judges.
