Chandrababu Naidu is spending Sankranti at his ancestral village Naravaripalle along with his family. The Andhra Pradesh CM participated in festive celebrations on Tuesday. The visit drew attention from locals and party supporters.
Chandrababu was joined by Nara Bhuvaneswari, Nara Lokesh, Brahmani Nara, and Devansh. Balakrishna’s wife Vasundhara and other family members were also present.
Bhuvaneswari and Brahmani observed the colourful rangoli designs created by local women. Devansh actively took part in traditional village games organised for the festival. The family spent time watching various cultural events.
Earlier in the day, Chandrababu interacted with villagers and received several local requests. He listened to grievances and acknowledged development-related appeals. The interaction was marked by a warm response from residents.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate multiple welfare and development programmes in Naravaripalle later in the evening. He is expected to stay in the village for three days. Official engagements are planned during the visit.
Sankranti is one of the biggest festivals in Andhra Pradesh and is celebrated as a harvest festival. Families return to their native villages during this time. The festival is known for sweets, kite flying, and traditional village games.
The festive season also coincides with the release of major films, adding excitement to celebrations. The mix of tradition and entertainment defines Sankranti in the state. Villages come alive with activity and gatherings.
