Chandrababu launches P4 programme in AP

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched the P4 programme in Mangalagiri on Tuesday. Addressing the gathering, he said life should be lived in such a way that people remember you even after death.

Chandrababu reminded that humans are mortal, but their good deeds ensure they remain alive in people’s memories. He said this is the true purpose of life. His speech inspired the audience and set the tone for the programme.

As part of the event, he held a face-to-face interaction with golden families and their mentors. The P4 programme was officially launched earlier this year during Ugadi, and the government has since been working on identifying eligible families and mentors.

So far, the state has recognised 13 lakh golden families under the initiative. To support them, 1.4 lakh industrialists and NRIs have come forward. Some of them were personally introduced to the families during the Mangalagiri event.

Golden families had the opportunity to meet their mentors directly. Chandrababu instructed officials to understand the needs and problems of these families firsthand and resolve them effectively. He emphasised that mentorship should bring visible change in their lives.

A few days ago, Chandrababu personally adopted 250 golden families. As a symbolic gesture, he presented “adopt trees” to the families adopted by him, highlighting his commitment to the cause of social upliftment.
