Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed that the ruling party will not hesitate to contest if the resignations of the five YSR Congress MPs are accepted and By-Elections will be held.

Having Said that all, Chandrababu said the party leaders that he believes that the Resignations will not be accepted. Naidu has dispelled the speculations of the experts that TDP will be cornered if the by-elections happen since the resignations are on Special Status issue.
Five MPs who have resigned are Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy (Nellore), Mithun Reddy (Rajampeta), YS Avinash Reddy (Kadapa), Vara Prasad (Tirupati), and YV Subba Reddy (Ongole). All the five Lok Sabha segments except for Tirupati are the YSR Congress Strongholds.
