TDP leader Devineni Uma challenged YSRCP chief YS Jagan, asking him to visit Amaravati and witness the development works directly. He said if Jagan truly has the courage, he should come and see the progress with his own eyes.
In recent days, YSRCP social media handles have been spreading stock videos showing waterlogged areas in Amaravati. The ruling TDP dismissed this as false propaganda, stressing that Amaravati is not flooded. They claimed the attempt was a result of Jagan’s frustration after the successful launch of Stree Shakti.
Devineni Uma stated that instead of spending time meeting criminals in jail or outside, Jagan should travel to Amaravati to see the seed access road, Secretariat, VIT, SRM and other key buildings. He said TDP leaders were ready to join Jagan wherever he came and prove that the capital region is free of floods.
Uma also pointed out that the propaganda began as a counter to the success of the free bus scheme. According to him, Jagan’s disturbed state of mind is evident to everyone today. He strongly criticised Jagan and his team, saying they created this false narrative only because they could not accept Amaravati’s continuing development.
