Assembly Sessions often garner the highest amount of Public attention. People keenly watch the proceedings to see and understand how the representatives perform and represent them in the Assembly.
But then, Jagan Mohan Reddy is a different man and boycotted the Assembly altogether since his ego does not let him sit in the Opposition benches and that too with just eleven MLAs.

He is not even allowing his MLAs to go to the house.
Meanwhile, YSR Congress MLCs are attending the Council. YSR Congress has the majority in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council. The Chairman also belongs to YSR Congress. TDP will not gain a majority here until 2027.

YSR Congress is trying to prove its authority in the council with its majority.
Today it tried to stall the proceedings demanding a discussion on the arrests of YSR Congress Social Media Activists.

However, Minister Nara Lokesh has handled them single-handedly. His fiery speech about how YSR Congress abused his mother and how he will never forget their insults has gone viral on Television Channels as well as social media.
Even though there is a majority for YSR Congress in the council, there is no leader who can match Lokesh.
Botsa Satyanarayana who was recently elected to the council was made the LoP. Botsa struggles to speak anything sensible.
Since YSR Congress has boycotted the Assembly, there is some attention to the Council but Lokesh is grabbing that completely. In a way, Lokesh is making complete use of the decision by Jagan.
