It has reached a point where this betting platform operators are using the name of almighty Lord Balaji in an attempt to lure the Telugu people.

In this context, a social media influencer wrote to Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan “To Honorable Minister Nara Lokesh and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, I request you to take appropriate steps to protect innocent youth as the betting app Govinda, named after the sacred Lord Venkateswara, is being promoted by Tamannaah and many other celebrities on Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and websites for several years.”
This is already a serious issue as gambling is ruining the lives of commoners. And on top of that, these operators had the audacity to use Lord Govinda’s name for their application.

The matter has reached Nara Lokesh, and he had a pretty solid reaction to the same as he appeared to be working on eradicating this culture already.
Reacting to this post, Lokesh replied “Betting apps are destroying lives. I get to hear hundreds of heart-wrenching stories about youngsters being pushed into despair because of their addiction to gambling. This has to stop.

The long-term solution is continuous awareness and acting tough on betting apps. We are working on a comprehensive anti-betting policy that will set an example for the entire country. All legal routes will be explored to put an end to this menace.”
My Lokesh did not reveal the actual game plan to eradicate this crucial antisocial activity, it can primarily be understood that he is coming up with something big and comprehensive. It is good that the IT minister is actively working on this crucial problem, which is still being underestimated. Certain measures are needed to eradicate this culture.
