It is known that the AP CID had notified TDP scion Nara Lokesh to appear in front of them for CID investigation in connection with the Amaravati Inner Ring Road scam case.
The investigation was scheduled to take place on the 4th of this month and the CID was preparing for the same. Meanwhile, Lokesh had filed a lunch motion at the AP high court.
Lokesh’s panel argued that Lokesh is a shareholder at Heritage and there is a company procedure to present bank statements, record books, and financial statements, and Lokesh can’t be asked to submit the same on his own.
CID lawyers argued that Lokesh should appear for investigation on the 4th of this month without fail. The judge then questioned what is the need to carry out the investigation in such a hurry.
The HC then asked the CID to postpone the investigation on the inner ring road case to the 10th of October. The CID cant be investigating Lokesh in this case till the mentioned date, as per the court order.
