One of the primary narratives of the YCP government and its representatives post 2019 election has been that TDP scion Nara Lokesh will leave Mangalagiri and contest from some other constituency in the next election.
Lokesh has busted these speculations and narrative multiple times in the past already.
Today, at the Yuvagalam Yatra in Mangalagiri, Lokesh has again announced his stance. He has confirmed that he will indeed contest from Mangalagiri.
“No need of any doubts. I will contest from Mangalagiri again and win by a huge majority” Lokesh said to the massive public gathering in Mangalagiri earlier today.
With under 9 months to go for the polls, this affirmative statement from Lokesh can rejuvenate TDP troops in the area. His confidence and determination are being highlighted now.
Lokesh has stood firm on the decision of not leaving Mangalagiri as he didn’t want to take the easy option of picking some other safer and sureshot constituency. His grit has greatly boosted the morale of TDP cadre in the area as well.
There are several reports that Lokesh will be winning by a substantial majority from Mangalagiri in the next election.
