Recently, a video went viral on social media showing a man from Andhra Pradesh explaining the hardships he was facing in Kuwait. He stated that he was being forced to work in a desert without proper food and shelter. He pleaded for help, stating that he was afraid he would die if no one helps him.
The man was identified as Siva, who hails from Chintaparti village near Madanapalle in the Chittoor district. This viral video reached Andhra Pradesh cabinet Minister Nara Lokesh.
Immediately, Lokesh assured that the government of Andhra Pradesh would take care of Siva and make sure to bring him back safely to India.
Lokesh’s team took the matter to the External Affairs Ministry of India and also held talks with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.
After the Indian Embassy located him and gave him shelter, Siva posted another video saying that the Embassy officials were taking care of him and were making arrangements to send him back to India.
Finally, Siva reached India and his family members went emotional upon his arrival. Quoting the video on X, Nara Lokesh wrote, “Happy for Siva and his family! God bless them!!”
