Nara Lokesh meets Sundar Pichai in US

AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who toured the US, met Google CEO Sundar Pichai in San Francisco. They reviewed the progress of the Google data center coming up in Visakhapatnam. Lokesh said Chandrababu always wanted one AI professional in every family.

Lokesh said Google’s investment is only the beginning and confirmed that the ground-breaking ceremony will take place in March. He also asked Pichai to set up an assembling unit in Drone City. He stressed that Andhra Pradesh is ready for large-scale tech expansion.

Lokesh then met Intel CTO Sesha Krishnapura. He requested Intel to start an Intel ATMP unit in Andhra Pradesh and consider an Intel AI research center in the state. He highlighted AP’s interest in advanced semiconductor and AI activity.

He later met Rajmir Puri of NVidia and continued discussions on possible investments. Lokesh also met Adobe CEO Santanu Narayan and asked him to open an Adobe GCC center in Andhra Pradesh, pushing the state’s long-term digital growth plans.

Lokesh met Zoom president Sankaralingam and requested a Zoom Development Center in the state. All company leaders assured him that their teams would examine the proposals. Lokesh now aims to convert these commitments into active projects.
