Nara Lokesh: Will Safeguard AP Students in Kashmir

AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh has taken to X to send assurances for the families of students from Andhra Pradesh studying in Jammu & Kashmir. He said amid Pakistani provocations, the coalition government was taking all steps to ensure the students return safe and secure.

He further wrote that MP Byreddy Shabari has written to Resident Commissioner Luv Agarwal, urging coordination with central agencies. I assure all parents that the situation is being closely monitored and full assistance is being extended, said Lokesh.

He attached the letter of MP Shabari and the names and campus names of eight students who are studying in Sher-e-Kashmir University of agriculture science and technology College in Kashmir.

As the situation is tense following Operation Sindoor, the state government has requested for the safe return of students stuck in Kashmir. Pakistan has indulged in provoking India with missile strikes and drone attacks.

While India thwarted the attacks, Pakistan is continuing firing across the border killing innocents. Hence, the statement by IT Minister is a huge relief to families of students.
