Nara Lokesh Yuvagalam Padayatra

Nara Lokesh, the youth leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), is set to resume his Yuvagalam Padayatra on the 24th of this month. The padayatra was paused in September following the arrest of his father, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. The padayatra had stopped at Rajolu mandal in Konaseema district, and the plan now is to resume the journey from there and potentially end it in Visakhapatnam instead of the initially planned Ichapuram in Srikakulam district.

The decision to conclude the padayatra in Visakhapatnam, where Chandrababu Naidu also concluded his, is reportedly driven by sentimental reasons. If this plan is finalized, the padayatra is expected to last for around ten to twelve days. TDP sources suggest that shortening the padayatra is part of the preparation strategy for the upcoming elections.

The party is also keeping an eye on the Supreme Court’s verdict on cases filed against Chandrababu Naidu by the CID police, expected on Tuesday. The outcome of the verdict may impact the party’s plans and strategies leading up to the elections.
