New YSRCP In-Charge For Mangalagiri!!

YCP Leaders

Mangalagiri is gaining prominence in the 2024 elections in Andhra Pradesh, primarily due to the consecutive contest of Lokesh, making it a focal point. The attention on Mangalagiri is heightened as the YSRCP has committed to defeating Lokesh in the same constituency for the second time.

Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, the sitting MLA, had previously left the YSRCP due to internal party differences, prompting the party to search for a suitable candidate to counter Lokesh. Ganji Chiranjeevi, who was in TDP and belongs to the BC community, was appointed as the interim in-charge by YSRCP.

However, YSRCP is facing challenges and uncertainty in Mangalagiri, not knowing who the right candidate is to field against Lokesh. The local YSRCP leaders in Mangalagiri are eager to contest against Lokesh, creating a dilemma for the party leadership.

There are rumors that YSRCP leadership might remove Chiranjeevi as the interim in-charge, further adding to the confusion. The cadre in Mangalagiri is in a state of uncertainty, and if Chiranjeevi is removed, there is a perception that it would be perceived as injustice to the backward classes.

The leadership of YSRCP in Mangalagiri is yet to announce the candidate who will contest against Lokesh. The internal fights and disagreements among YSRCP cadre for leadership positions have become a challenge for the party, given the history of frequent changes in leadership in the region. The announcement of a new in-charge for Mangalagiri is expected in the coming days.
