Revanth Reddy

Revanth Reddy as the Chief Minister of Telangana is all set for his first major challenge. The General Elections are just a couple of months away and Revanth will face a stern test in his previous seat.

After losing from Kodangal in 2018, Revanth Reddy won as Malkajgiri Parliament in 2019 elections.

It is very important to retain the seat with a Bumper majority this time since it is the own seat of the Chief Minister.

Malkajgiri is the biggest constituency in the country with a very different landscape. The Parliament is like Mini India with a huge impact on the settlers of Andhra Pradesh as well as North India.

BRS won all the seven Assembly segments that come under Malkajgiri Parliament in the recent Assembly elections.

BJP also comes into the picture with the Modi factor and the North India Population. So, it is not an easy election definitely but Revanth Reddy should win it for sure.

Mallareddy who won as Malkajgiri MP from TDP in 2014 later shifted to BRS and went to Assembly and became a Minister. He also won from Medchal Parliament in the recent election from BRS.

Even then, he is interested in contesting for the Parliament from a BRS ticket. Mallareddy is a money bag that will help BRS to take care of the money needs for the constituency with 31 Lakh voters.

Mallareddy’s son-in-law, Rajasekhar Reddy contested on a BRS ticket in 2019 and lost to Revanth Reddy.

Congress is being careful in deciding the candidate from here.
