Tamil actor Vijay Thalapathy has created a political tsunami in Tamil Nadu by winning his very first collection and becoming the chief minister of the state. This is the kind of stuff that dreams are made of for other leaders.
Coming to the topic now, the discussion has opened about another veteran star Rajinikanth and his latest political action in Tamil Nadu.
Interestingly, a citizens’ platform, a people’s movement, has been launched by Rajinikanth’s wife, Latha Rajinikanth. It is called Makkal Medai and aims to create and nurture new local leaders who can work for the development of the state.
People have immediately identified one very interesting observation regarding the timing of this incident as it closely coincides with the tsunami created by Vijay in Tamil politics.
This has immediately resulted in certain social media people commenting that Rajinikanth might not be processing the fame gained by Vijay and hence acting on it to somehow subside Vijay. They are of the opinion that the timing of the launch of this platform is very suspicious, considering that Vijay is the newly elected CM.
It is true that this movement was not launched by Rajinikanth, but instead by his wife Latha. But as we all know, social media is a very impulsive place and people draw conclusions very easily.
But it must be noted that Rajinikanth himself had recently commented that he feels happy for Vijay’s rise to power and wished him the very best for the CM tenure.
