Andhra Pradesh Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has become serious about people comparing Andhra Pradesh with Srilanka.
“Everyone is accustomed to comparing Andhra Pradesh with Sri Lanka. There is no strong leadership in Sri Lanka. It happened because there was no policy. Here we have strong leadership. There is a policy for the government and the party. How Sri Lanka-like situation will come here?” Botsa questioned.
Botsa may not be well versed in Sri Lanka politics and is passing statements in eagerness to be in the good books of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Sri Lanka’s plight is because of various reasons including the Pandemic induced problems. The country which was dependent on revenues from Tourism suffered big time.
Once the revenues dipped, the leadership could not manage the economy.
At least the country does not have bad leaders who mindlessly run after freebies and takes loans without thinking about the future. Things have turned much worse if that is the case.
It looks like Botsa is saying that Sri Lanka needs a leader like that of Jagan in AP.
But the people of that island country should thank their stars for something of that sort not happening, people on social media are mocking.
“At least the leadership there is openly admitting the financial condition of the country. We have leaders who are hoodwinking central government and taking secret loans,” they are ridiculing.
