The nomination process started in Andhra Pradesh a few days ago and is coming to an end as tomorrow (25 April) marks the last date for filing nomination papers.
Almost all MLA and MP contestants who are contesting in these elections are crorepathis. Here is a look at the candidates who declared assets of more than Rs. 100 crores.

1. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu:
TDP president and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, is contesting from his fortress Kuppam. He declared that he and his wife own assets worth Rs. 810.42 crore. It was stated that Naidu and his family’s assets grew by over 41% in the last five years.

2. Pawan Kalyan:
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan filed his nomination at Pithapuram yesterday. It was declared that Pawan owns assets worth Rs. 151.22 crore.

3. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy:
YSR Congress party president and AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is contesting from his native Pulivendula. He declared that there are assets worth Rs. 779.80 crores in his, his wife Bharati and his daughter’s names.
4. YS Sharmila:
APCC president YS Sharmila stated in her affidavit that she owns assets worth Rs.182.82 crore. She also mentioned that she took a total loan of around Rs. 102 crores from her brother Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife Bharati Reddy. She is contesting for the Kadapa MP seat.
5. Nara Lokesh:
Chandrababu Naidu’s son and TDP General Secretary, Nara Lokesh, is contesting from Mangalagiri this time. He stated that he and his wife Brahmini owns assets worth Rs. 543 crores.
6. Nandamuri Balakrishna:
Balakrishna is contesting from the Hindupur constituency, representing the TDP. In his affidavit, it was declared that he owns family assets worth Rs. 188.99 crore.
7. Raghu Rama Krishna Raju:
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju recently joined TDP and is contesting from the Undi constituency. His total assets are valued at Rs. 221.9 crores.
8. Butta Renuka:
During a Siddham meeting, YS Jagan introduced Renuka as a poor candidate. However, she shocked everyone with her affidavit. It was declared that Renuka and her husband jointly own assets worth Rs. 162.49 crores. Renuka is contesting from Yemmiganur.
9. Vemireddy Prashanti Reddy:
Prashanti Reddy is the TDP candidate from the Kovuru constituency. It was stated that she and her husband Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy own assets worth Rs. 723 crore.
10. JC Asmith Reddy:
Asmith Reddy is TDP’s MLA candidate from the Tadipatri constituency. He owns total assets of worth Rs. 185.3 crores.
11. Lokam Madhavi:
Madhavi is representing the Jana Sena Party in the Nellimerla constituency. Her total assets are valued at a whopping Rs. 898.78 crores.
12. Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy:
Ramachandra Reddy is contesting from the Punganur constituency, representing the YSR Congress Party. His assets are valued at Rs. 236.66 crores.
13. PV Midhun Reddy:
Midhun Reddy is representing the YSR Congress party from the Rajampet constituency. He owns assets worth Rs. 101.1 crore.
