Three Segments Giving Trouble To YSRCP in East

YCP Party

YSRCP has appointed in-charges for several assembly seats in East Godavari district, with a few exceptions. While in-charges have been announced for constituencies like Rajamahendravaram City, Rural, Kovvuru, and Gopalapuram, there’s a delay in finalizing in-charges for Anaparthi, Rajanagaram, and Nidadavolu.

In Rajanagaram, the incumbent MLA and YSRCP district president, Jakkampudi Raja, has been overseeing the constituency’s affairs. However, the party is yet to officially announce the in-charge for this constituency. Jakkampudi Ganesh, the brother of MLA Jakkampudi Raja, is rumored to be a potential candidate, but the situation remains uncertain.

Nidadavolu constituency, won by YSRCP in the last election, is also awaiting the announcement of an in-charge. There are reports of dissatisfaction among some leaders in the constituency, and the absence of an official in-charge adds to the uncertainty.

In Anaparthi, YSRCP secured victory in the last election, but there are growing concerns and criticisms within the party. There are allegations of irregularities, such as involvement in illegal activities like gravel mining, land deals, and permitting a controversial medical disposable factory. Dr. Satthi Suryanarayana Reddy, the current MLA, is facing criticism for his alleged involvement in these activities.

The situation in Anaparthi is intensified by opposition against Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy. Some reports suggest that there are discussions within the YSRCP about fielding Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy from Anaparthi constituency. The delay in appointing in-charges for these constituencies reflects the complexities and challenges within the party structure in East Godavari district.
